God's Judgment - Marriage Law

When public debates stir anger and helplessness, the urge to win can turn people into harsh judges. In John 8, Jesus exposes men who use a guilty woman as bait while ignoring their own sin and unjust motives. He neither excuses her adultery nor permits their hypocrisy. Jesus alone judges rightly, yet He took His people's punishment Himself. His mercy frees them to examine their motives, speak with gentleness and respect, pray for their world, and rest in His rule.
