God’s Listening Ear (Psalm 119:26)

The popular hymn “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” emphasizes that we can share *anything* with God. Of course, that idea didn’t originate with the hymn writer. It’s right here in Psalm 119. NOTE: When the psalmist talks about God answering him; we shouldn’t imagine that he does so in some sort of mystical way, whispering to us or directly planting answers in our thoughts.
