GOD’s LOVE IS DIFFERENT (FOR HIS GLORY) | I PETER4:7-11

1John2:18-23/James5:19-20/2Corinthians9:6-8/Eph.4:29-32VERSE 7: REAL JUDGEMENT IS COMING ONE DAY SOON!!! 1. How are you living with wisdom or foolishness? 2. Are you a very serious/watchful person in your prayer life?(Sober-minded and very disciplined)VERSE 8: IS YOUR LOVE ABOVE ALL THINGS?? 1. Is your love consistent or inconsistent towards others?(We need to stop being so fickle/fragile/fleeting with our love) 2. Is your love conditional or unconditional towards others?(We need to stop having them measure up to our expectations/standards of LOVE!!!)VERSE 9: Would your house be considered hospitable? 1. When was last time you hosted someone outside of your family/friends/coworkers?(During this time period it meant housing and feeding travelers for two/three days without any expectations of payment) 2. Serving one another with a SMILE!!!(Personal sacrifice-no strings attached)Peter encouraged Christians to do this cheerfully!!!VERSE 10: HAVE YOU RECEIVED YOUR GIFT FROM THE LORD YET? 1. Remember where the Gift came from and its purpose!!(To serve one another) 2. Are you being a good steward of your gift from the Lord?(You will be held accountable by the way you use your gift-it’s not your Grace)VERSE 11: WHO/WHAT IS YOUR SPEECH REPRESENTING? 1. Are you speaking God’s truth or your opinion?(With reverence and respect to the Word of God)!!! 2. God will supply you with everything you need to minister to others!!!(Not on my own strength but with the power of Jesus Christ that is in me to bring the good news to everyone I come in contact with)
