God's Plan of Salvation Genesis 3:21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. After the fall of man, when man lost the spiritual nature of God in him because of disobedience to God's instruction; he was separated from the presence of God. It was at that same point that God started making plans to save man from eternal damnation. God demonstrated His love and mercy for man when He slaughtered an animal and used its skin to cover Adam and Eve. The animal's blood was like a temporal atonement for their sin. This very act prefigured God's salvation plan by which the Lamb of God (His Son) will be killed and permanently wash away the sin of humanity.
