God's Plans Are Better Than Ours

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”Jeremiah 29:11Life does not always unfold according to our plans. Unexpected trials, disappointments, and delays can leave us wondering whether God has forgotten us. Yet Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that the Lord never loses sight of His purposes.These words were spoken to the people of Judah while they were living in exile in Babylon. They were far from home, facing hardship because of their own sin. Even then, God assured them that He had not abandoned them. His plans for them were still good, and in His own time He would fulfil every promise.The same God is at work in the lives of His children today. Although this verse was given specifically to Israel, it reveals the heart of a God who is sovereign, faithful, and full of mercy. We may not understand why He allows certain circumstances, but we can trust that His wisdom is greater than ours. He sees the end from the beginning and never makes a mistake.When your future seems uncertain, resist the temptation to rely on your own understanding. Continue walking faithfully with the Lord, obey His Word, and leave tomorrow in His hands. God’s timing is always perfect, and His purposes are always good.PrayerHeavenly Father, thank You that Your plans are perfect, even when I cannot see what You are doing.
