God’s Reach Renews: A Tale of Mud, Thirst, and Escape | Daily Readings | March 24, 2025 | Monday of the Third Week of Lent

Today’s Scripture reflections for Monday of the Third Week of Lent:First Reading (2 Kings 5:1-15ab): Naaman, a proud commander, humbles himself to bathe in the Jordan River and receives healing by God's mercy.Responsorial Psalm (Psalm 42:2-3; 43:3-4): Athirst is my soul for the living God; send forth Your light and fidelity to lead me.Gospel (Luke 4:24-30): Jesus faces rejection in His hometown but walks unshaken, revealing that God's reach and mercy extend far beyond human boundaries.Through these readings, we are invited to set aside pride, to thirst deeply for God’s presence, and to trust that His grace is at work even when rejected or misunderstood.A ministry of Christus Dominus Bread of Life.Produced in collaboration with Christus Dominus Studios.
