God’s Recipe for His Ultimate Team, Prairie Bible Message, May 15, 20221 Corinthians 12:12-31When you place your faith, hope and trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ, you become a member of the body of Christ. God has designed the church in a way that every member of the body of Christ matters. If the body of Christ has made you feel as if you do not have value, that is not from God. That is a result of man’s sin. God values you and loves you and wants you in His church. At Prairie Bible Church we value you and love you and want you here. We are all members of teams– for example, in our families and our workplaces– but the most important team we are members of is the church. The church is the body of Christ, God’s ultimate team. In this famous passage, Paul helps us answer the question, “What is God’s recipe for His ultimate team, and what does that mean for us?” God’s Ultimate Team has…-       One Unifying Identity (12-13).-       Many Valuable Members (14-24a).-       One Powerful Togetherness (24b-26).-       Many Active Ministries (27-31).  Simple.
