She knows it was "Nobody But Jesus!"Amethyst Gonzalez was born and raised in LaPorte, Texas. She is the youngest of four children. Amethyst was brought up in a Christian household. Her mom taught them about the Lord. Her mother’s heart and mission were for her household to be saved. She taught them Bible lessons and gave them the tools necessary for them to be effective as adults.Amethyst’s mother was a stay-at-home mom. Her father was a shift worker at a chemical plant. As a teenager, because her mother did not drive, Amethyst could not participate in many extracurricular activities. She was somewhat restricted. Amethyst had a lot of free time on her hands, and it was not long before her “idle mind became the devil’s workshop.” She met a young man that she had no business knowing or spending time with. Before long, she had developed deep feelings for him and fell head over heels.
