God's Relentless Grace | Week 2

Jonah chapter 1. This class explores the book of Jonah not as a children’s tale about a runaway prophet and a giant fish, but as a profound story of God’s unrelenting grace toward the most unlikely people. Throughout this study, we will uncover how Jonah’s resistance, the pagan sailors’ awe, and the wicked city of Nineveh all become surprising windows into the heart of God. Far from being merely ancient history, Jonah confronts our own tendencies to run, resent, or control God’s mercy. Over five weeks, we will discover that Jonah is ultimately not a story about a man’s failure, but about the lengths to which God will go to pursue, forgive, and transform. This class will challenge our assumptions about who deserves grace and invite us to see ourselves and our world through the lens of God’s relentless love.
