Or, maybe worse, has someone or something you loved ever been lost? It is hard to eat or sleep until you are reunited with the object of your love. So too is God's compassion for His beloved who are lost. As the Good Shepherd, He goes to extremes in order to rescue us back to Himself. This is the good news of the Gospel, and this good news is worthy of sharing, because "Our story is THE story of God's great rescue mission"!
