GOD'S RIGHT HAND: MY REFUGE AND CONFIDENCE

📖 Scripture “Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.” — Psalm 63:7–8 Devotional Message In a world filled with uncertainty, fear, and constant change, every believer needs a place of refuge and a reason for confidence. God offers both through His mighty right hand. His right hand is a symbol of His strength, protection, faithfulness, and unfailing presence. When we place our trust in Him, we discover a refuge that cannot be shaken and a confidence that cannot be destroyed. A refuge is a place of safety during times of danger. Throughout Scripture, God repeatedly revealed Himself as the refuge of His people. David fled from enemies but found security in God's presence. The psalmists declared that the Lord was their fortress and strong tower. Even when surrounded by trouble, they remained confident because God's hand was upon them. The same promise is true for us today. God's right hand protects you when fear tries to overwhelm you. His right hand strengthens you when your heart grows weary. His right hand guides you when the path ahead seems uncertain. His right hand upholds you when life's burdens become too heavy. True confidence is not found in wealth, status, or human ability. It is found in knowing that the Almighty God is with you. When His hand holds your life, you can face every challenge with courage because your security rests in His unchanging character. There will be seasons of testing, but God's hand will not let you go. There will be moments of uncertainty, but His wisdom will guide you. There will be battles, but His power will defend you. There will be valleys, but His presence will sustain you. Therefore, do not allow fear to rule your heart. Run to God in prayer. Stand firmly on His Word. Walk in obedience. Trust His promises. The One whose right hand upholds the universe is more than able to uphold your life. In Him, you will always find refuge, strength, and lasting confidence. Today, Ask Yourself Where am I placing my confidence—in my own abilities or in the mighty right hand of God that never fails? Prayer Almighty Father, thank You for being my refuge and my confidence. I place my life into Your mighty right hand. Protect me from fear, strengthen me in every trial, and guide my steps according to Your perfect will. Help me to trust You completely and to rest securely in Your unfailing love. Let my life reflect unwavering confidence in Your promises. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏
