Genesis 3:6 The Lust of the Eyes: Things that look good. Genesis 3:6 The Pride of Life: Things that make you feel and look good. Genesis 3:6 The pride of life is an obsession with self. The world with its allure is the eternal foe. The flesh with its evil desires is the internal foe. Satan with his enticements is the infernal foe. Mark 2:21 God called out, “Where are you?” Genesis 3:10–13 Adam blamed God for what he himself had done. Genesis 3:12 We play a role in our own temptation and sin. Jeremiah 17:9 Because of Adam’s sin, we all suffer.
