God's strange choice
from Cairns Lutheran Parish · host Pastor Noel Due
God's choice of Abram looks like a very strange choice indeed. It appears as though both God and Abram have put all their eggs in one basket. But God's power is made perfect in weakness which is precisely why Abram needed to be the man he was.

Behold, Your Mother
Diocese of New Ulm
Behold, Your Mother, is a 27-week prayer guide meant to help you grow in relationship with Mary & to intercede for the Diocese of New Ulm and it's "Pilgrimage of Hope" happening in June of 2025. Before we walk from parish to parish this coming summer, we will begin our walk with Mary here in this guide to learn from her what it means to be "Pilgrims of Hope." Who is Our Lady of the Prairie? In June of 2025, the Diocese of New Ulm will reconsecrate the diocese to Mary, under the title, "Our Lady of the Prairie." During the pilgrimage, a commissioned image of her will be unveiled and walked throughout the pilgrimage so that all may come to encounter her and her Son, Jesus in a profoundly new and personal way.
