God’s ultimate purpose for us is not to be happy, or comfortable, or even prosperous, but to be conformed to the image of His Son. Romans 8:29 (NKJV) “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.” This is God's ultimate purpose! This is the big picture. For this cause, the cause of being conformed to the image of Christ, we can rise from our bed every single day with anticipation and excitement to what Christ will do through us.
