God's Vineyard and Fig Tree

1. God calls the whole house of Jacob/Israel which he brought up out of the land of Egypt, which included Juda, his Vineyard. (Isaias 5:7; Jeremias 2:4,21) 2. These three facts are also given: 1. The man of your right hand, the son of man was confirmed for God (Psalm 79:16, 18) 2. The man of Juda is God's pleasant plant (Isaias 5:7) 3. Jesus was born in Juda (Hebrews 7:14) Conclusion: It appears that facts 1 & 2 pertain to Jesus of fact #3. 4. The inhabitants of Jerusalem and Men of Juda are to judge between God and his vineyard (Isaias 5:3) 5. A parable of a man who planted a Fig Tree in his vineyard; the tree bore no fruit (Luke 13:6) 6. A parable of a man who had a vineyard and let vine-dressers take care of it. He sent servants to collect the profits and they beat them. He sent his son, and they killed him. We are told that this parable was aimed at the chief priests and Scribes who were the vine-dressers. (Luke 20:9-19)
