God's Weirdos (1 Peter 2:1-10)

Continuing the Along the Way series, Pastor LyAnna Johnson digs into 1 Peter's call to be "a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation," and makes the case that holy really just means set apart, a little bit weird. She traces that idea back to John Wesley's own eccentric discipline and the Methodist practice of works of piety and works of mercy, while drawing a clear line between being called to a higher standard and being tempted toward a higher status.
