The Man of God here makes request for forgiveness and acceptance of a brother, Onesimus, that had committed a wrong to another brother, Philemon. Onesimus, in a new environment with Paul had been reconciled to God and was helpful to Paul. However, Paul wanted reconciliation for Onesimus with Philemon. Paul encouraged Philemon to remember his own history. This is wisdom for all of us today; let’s use it. Thank you God.
