God's Word Produces Faith in Order to Work 9/25/25 Frame Your Week with the Word

from Frame Your Week with the Word · host Sara Shallenberger

Provision and Increase 9/25/25Faith comes first and sight second. Today we talked about the sowing and reaping process and intersection between faith and work. Key ideas:All humans are gifted and designed to be productive or 'work.' It is part of Genesis 1:28, be fruitful, multiply, subdue, and cover the earth, which all necessitate ACTION and EFFORT or work on our part.God blesses the work of our hands.God is always our source. Not our jobs, they are resources, we are called to do all work as unto the Lord. The Word produces FAITH so we can 'see' or perceive God's promises, that if we sow we will reap.FAITH always produces action. If I believe seeds sown will produce a vineyard, then I will sow seeds. It requires faith to sow natural seed and kingdom seed. The process of SOWING takes time. No farmer can just 'throw out seed' in five minutes and expect a harvest. With our lives, we can't just sow one or two times and expect a harvest.Sowing taking planning, preparation and time. Then there is a time element of caring for the seed sown.Seeds have to be watered, protected and given special attention. Some seeds require structures to be built, like trellis' so the vines can grow upward.Faith needs confession and daily action.Prayer helps water the faith seeds and action seeds you have planted. All humans are called and equipped to contribute in some way to our fellow man.Not all people who prosper on the earth have Biblical faith in Jesus, but all have a human level of faith that their work will be rewarded. The wicked and evil have 'faith' that they will not be caught. But that is dead, or non-productive faith. What they amass will be taken and transferred into the kingdom. Prov. 13:22The most valuable asset that exists is BIBLICAL Faith based on the FINISHED work of JESUS. It is worth more than gold. 1 Peter 1:7We show God we believe, or have faith, by taking action on His Word.Faith is not a feeling, it is a conviction with corresponding action. The most valuable substance is the anointing which produces salvation, healing and the move of God, which are eternal issues far outweighing cash, money or earthly treasure.People are not our Source, God is.The focus of every Christian home is to be the Lord and the Word, not one or both of the spouses. A home that rotates around a person outside of the Lord Jesus, is a home that is not built on the rock. Some good verses:Phil. 4:19God meets our needs.Proverbs 3:33 God is the Blesser of my habitation.Proverbs 8:21 God causes me to inherit substance and fills my life and home with treasure.Proverbs 10:4 The hand of the diligent produces wealth.Proverbs 13:11 He that gathers by labor will increase.Proverbs 15:6 In my home is much treasure because I am in right standing with God.Proverbs 11:25 I am generous so I prosper, I refresh others and I am thus refreshed myself.Psalm 119:2 I am blessed because I deep His Word and seek the Lord with all my heart.Books on faith for recompense and provision, healing and provision are available at www.H2two.orgFor more information about Victory Bible School or partnership, go to H2:2 Ministries: https://h2two.org/bookstore-and-partners
