Going Beyond Religion

When Christmas comes around, people get in the festive mood with their Christmas songs, Christmas shopping, Christmas parties, etc. Another part of Christmas tradition is going to church. After all, it's important to practice religion on the big holidays like Christmas and Easter right? In our message, Pastor Russ challenges the listeners to move beyond religion with its hollow traditions and empty promises to a living, life-giving relationship with Jesus Christ. Religion is about what we can do for God and relationship is about what God has already done for us and what he's going to do in us.
