Going Not Knowing

from NcourageMe: Daily Encouragement · host NcourageME

How many of us have ever gotten some blind instructions and we're like what should I or how can I navigate this journey? Our Lord is such a wonderful Dad because every mission He sent us on whether big or small, though it may seems like there is no instructions, the Lord always makes provisions.Yes my friends, provision is already been made. Let's explore two people in the Bible who went without knowing what the outcome will be. Abraham received an instruction from God to leave his mother and father house and go to a land that God has prepared for him. Ruth after the death of her husband decided to follow Naomi back to Naomi's homeland without knowing the outcome.  Am going to show you something here, both of them went to a foreign land. Both of them followed the instructions. Both of them am sure at times felt like an outcast in those land. And this is the most beautiful part of it all both of them trusted God. Ruth trust in the sovereign God developed by observing Naomi faith. Ruth's response to Naomi was “Entreat me not to leave you, Or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God. Ruth 1:16.You may a foreigner in a strange land but let me remind you that the provision is already been made. Do not compromise. Do not get weary. Do not loose focus. Do not get discouraged. Hold on to the promise which God gave to you. It may feel as though things are different but let me remind you that when God is ready to bring us into purpose He will separate us from the things which will distracts us. He will strip us of everything that will make us depend on Him our Lord and Savior. Here's a testimony for me:I am grateful to be in Canada today because honestly the Lord knows if I had remained in Jamaica perhaps things will not be like it is today. After leaving high school, I had the opportunity to do youth service once and the second time I was rejected. I applied for Utech and was rejected. I applied for multiple jobs and was rejected. In the year too my sister tried to take me to Canada and my application was rejected.eIt was rejection upon rejection. At that time I also felt discouraged because some of my grades on my CXC results were not the best according to society. My dad advised me to resist the courses I got a grade 3 in and perhaps I will get a job. I know he didn't have the money to help me do it and so I told him I will redo Math alone since I got a grade 4 in it. I took the time and went to evening classes to do math. I did failed it a few times but I never gave up. Fast forward to 2015, my application was put in again to come to Canada and everything went smoothly. I remember also during the year 2015 I decided to stop worrying about school or work and just dedicate my life to serving my grandmother and doing church work. I did also started a small business on the side helping my mom to sell her phone cards, bleach, polish, and much more.At that time I felt okay. I was happy because I was taking of my grandmother and I am glad I got the chance to do so before she left us to heaven. So not I was turning 20 and transitioning to a foreign land. I was excited and sad at the same time. I was leaving my grandmother behind and I wasn't sure if I was going to see her again. I cried that night so much but I know she was happy that I got the opportunity to leave Jamaica because always wants me to be happy and excels. Everything that we have today it's all because of our Abba Father. Trust Him wholeheartedly and do not faint. Always remember, when the Lord wants to bring us into purpose He will strip us and if he removes us from a place trust me he will not make us go back.
