A young woman who faked cancer for sympathy went on to commit a cold-blooded murder before her 21st birthday, and her reason was as senseless as it was sinister. Sierra Inscoe, from Mississippi, connected with 24-year-old Carson Sistrunk on Snapchat and lured him on a date in September 2022 [citation:1]. He never returned home. Prosecutors revealed her motive: she had told people she was going to get a truck by her birthday—and Carson had a very nice Ford Raptor [citation:2]. She shot him three times, dumped his body in an oilfield, and stole his truck [citation:1]. In July 2024, she pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a minimum of 35 years in prison, a callous ending to a life taken for nothing more than a vehicle [citation:2].
