Golden Knights Take Game 1 & ECF Starts Tonight

SiriusXM Morning Skate with Scott Laughlin, Gord Stellick & Tyler Madarasz   The Vegas Golden Knights struck first in the Western Conference Final with a 4-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche in Game 1 at Ball Arena. Carter Hart was stellar between the pipes, stopping 36 shots to backstop Vegas to the road victory. Pavel Dorofeyev continued his dominant postseason run, scoring his playoff-leading 10th goal, while Dylan Coghlan, Brett Howden, and Nic Dowd also found the back of the net for the Pacific Division champions. Mitch Marner and Tomas Hertl each contributed assists as the Golden Knights seized early control of the series.  Carolina enters the Eastern Conference Final undefeated after sweeping Ottawa and Philadelphia, while Montreal battled through back-to-back seven-game series, capped by an overtime Game 7 win to reach the showdown.
