Broken and torn pieces of fabric, woven together by loving hands, have withstood time, dirt, and crushing feet. They are strong, durable, and beautiful.Bianca Sparacino wrote a book entitled, The Strength of Our Scars." One of the phrases that epitomize the book's title is, "Some of the kindest souls I know have lived in a world that was not so kind to them."Parachutes of broken pieces, rugs of discarded rags, and kindness made from scars.
