Goldenhand- Chapters 35- Epilogue

from Spoil Me · host Natasha Kingston

Thank you so much to Yama for commissioning this episode! By the time I publish this episode, I've seen news that Garth Nix is planning another book in this universe and I'm delighted about it. I really enjoying the time I spend in Old Kingdom, and I just wish that he would let the stories breathe by the end. By this time, after reading so many books by him, I'm just realizing that Nix doesn't really know how to end a story. He builds everything to this massive confrontation, and then the story almost immediately ends, with no real regard for the fallout and consequences. I liked Goldenhand as a concept, and the middle of the story really picked up after I was getting frustrated at how slowly things were moving, but then it's like someone hit fast forward in the final chapter and it was so odd!Anyway, thank you all so much for commissioning this series and for listening, and I hope that you come back to commission the new book when it comes out!
