Again I'll read the text two times and then break it into sentences or groups of sentences so you can practice repeating. Meanwhile the bear family was sitting down to breakfast. Baby Bear tasted his porridge. “Too hot!” he exclaimed.Mama Bear looked at the steam coming up from her porridge. “Mine looks hot too,” she said.“Let’s go for a little stroll,” said Papa Bear. “When we get back, the porridge will be cool enough to eat and we can enjoy our breakfast.”“Good idea,” said Mama Bear. “Ready, Baby?”“Let’s go!” said Baby Bear. He was already half way out the back door. So Papa Bear armed the alarm system, and the bear family went for a walk. It was a pleasant morning and Papa and Mama Bear chatted while Baby Bear ran around snuffling and sniffing happily.A few minutes later Goldilocks reached the front door of the bears’ little house. She knocked on the door. Nobody answered. She pushed the door open and called, “Anybody home? Bears?”Nobody answered so Goldilocks walked in and found herself in a kitchen. On the table she found three bowls of hot porridge. She stuck her finger in the largest bowl and howled with pain. “Ahhhhhhh! Ouch! Ouch!” She sucked her finger and said, “Wow, that was hot.” She paused. “But tasty!” More carefully, she tested the porridge in the medium bowl. It was cold. “Too cold,” said Goldilocks, “but also tasty.” She grabbed a spoon and ate a few bites. “Yes, definitely too cold.” Finally she tried the cereal in the smallest bowl. “Oh yeah,” she said with a big smile. “This one is just right!” She poured in some honey from a jar and gobbled up the porridge. “Delicious!” she said. What Goldilocks didn’t know, however, was that when she had walked into the house, she had set off the alarm system. A signal had gone to the Bear Monitoring System, and they had called the Bear Police Station. Uh, oh! 1. Meanwhile the bear family were sitting down to breakfast. 2.
