Long Island boasts some of the country’s best golf courses and homes to major championship venues. Given Long Island’s unique abundance of water resources and dense population, it’s critical that close attention must be given to the maintenance of golf courses to avoid negative impacts on the environment. To avoid polluting ground and surface water, strict steps and methods are being taken to make golf courses groundwater-friendly. In this podcast, Paul K. Boyce, PE, PG, discusses the environmental issues facing Long Island golf courses with Mark Hissey, Senior Vice President of Discovery Land Company. #Golf #GolfCourse #Environment  To watch a video version of this podcast, ask a question, suggest a topic or to be a guest on the show visit us at https://pwgrosser.com/podcast If you or your organization is in need of our services please contact us at https://pwgrosser.com/contact/ or call 631-589-6353.
