Goliath Come Out To Play | Week 10 | Guard The Heart

In this Sermon, Pastor Mike reads through 2 Samuel 11, verses 1-27. In this chapter, we see that David lets his guard down and decides to sleep with one of his soldier's wife. Then we see how David tries to hide his sin, after he sleeps with Bathsheba, by sending her husband, Uriah, out to die in battle, on purpose. This chapter reveals the deceptiveness of sin, as David hardens his heart against advice and allows himself to believe that there wasn't going to be any consequences to his actions. But, as Pastor Mike will preach, we will see the importance of guarding our hearts, even in good times.
