Gonzaga's Loaded Roster Faces Eligibility Hurdles | Gonzaga Bulldogs Basketball News

Gonzaga’s loaded roster is poised for a historic run, featuring a stacked starting five with returning stars Braden Huff and Davis Fogle, plus explosive newcomers Massamba Diop and Isiah Harwell. The real game-changer? Fifth-year point guards Javon Bennett and Xaivian Lee—especially Lee, whose downhill scoring fills a critical void—and sharpshooter Chauncey Wiggins. But don’t celebrate yet: eligibility hangs over the team, with Bennett currently blocked by an NCAA lawsuit, while Lee and Wiggins’ status could shift. Add in international recruits Nathan de Sousa and Izan Almansa, still waiting on NCAA clearance, and you’ve got a roster that’s electric on paper—but full of legal uncertainty.
