Cities and states in the US will be able to sue massive fossil fuel polluters thanks to a Supreme Court decision. As the climate crisis worsens, local governments are taking energy giants to court. Big Oil appealed five of these local cases to America’s Supreme Court. But the court declined to hear them- setting an important precedent for future lawsuits. Hosted on Acast.
