Good Hope FM Candice Pillay Exclusive with Dan Corder

from GHFM Extra · host Good Hope FM

Candice Pillay is a South African who came out of nowhere to sing on Dr Dre's first album in sixteen years. Candice is on the two biggest songs on the album, named Compton, where she features alongside Kendrick Lamar on Genocide, and Eminem on her concept song, Medicine Man. Before then, she wrote songs for Christina Aguilera and Rihanna, including co-writing American Oxygen. She has achieved all this, after arriving in the United States alone and with nothing, at the age of nineteen. Dan Corder brings you an interview with her on her incredible story, which has never been covered in South Africa before.
