Good Leaders Are Servant Leaders (Neh 5.1-19) - 7-25-21

Today’s Scripture texts are Nehemiah 5.1-19 and Matthew 20.20-28 as we continue with lesson seven of our Leadership Series based on life lessons from Nehemiah. Our subject today is “Good Leaders Are Servant Leaders.”True leaders, godly leaders are selfless, not selfish. They lead because God has placed them in a position to make a positive difference in the lives of others. You have heard it before and I will say it again, if you are a Christian, you are a leader. You have influence. And I want to encourage us to use our influence to be of service to God and to others. Let’s learn from Nehemiah.1.Servant leaders listen to the voices of their people. (vv1-6) 2.Servant leaders rebuke and correct internal oppression and suppression. (vv7-10)3.Servant leaders create an environment that’s beneficial for all. (vv11-13) 4.Servant leaders practice what they preach. (vv14-19)God bless you and please apply what you have received. You are a leader. And leadership is influence. Nothing more. Nothing less. Use your influence for good. Amen.
