Good Life - Mercy (Matthew 5:7)

Join Pastor Stuart for the last lesson in our series, The Good Life, about following Jesus. This week, we turn to Matthew 5:7 to learn about . . . "The Good Life". In this lesson, we learn: According to Jesus, the merciful have the “good life." Mercy is displayed in at least two ways: Willingly withholding deserved judgment. Kindness and care for those in need. God blesses the merciful because he himself is merciful. We see God’s mercy most clearly in Christ. Because mercy is such a significant trait of Jesus, mercy will be a significant trait for his followers. By the work of the Spirit, let’s grow in being merciful.
