Titles include Cormac McCarthy's masterpiece All the Pretty Horses, Wonder Boys by Michael Chabon, George Saunders' Tenth of December, Joe Abercrombie's The Blade Itself, The Guards by Ken Bruen and John Scalzi's Old Man's War. It's winter time, time to hole up and start reading and you could do a whole lot worse than starting with this list.
