Piers tackles difficult subjects in his poetry like racism and mental health issues. Piers helps Tina tell the gruesome and horrifying story of Thomas Dunkley, a caregiver in the UK who took care of former boxer Shaun Cummins. Shaun was badly injured in a motorcycle accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down. They close the show with Piers performing one of his poems encouraging health care students.
