Good Time
from RollTheCredits's podcast · host Frank DiSalvo and Zach Johnson
Robert Pattinson has steered clear from his Twilight years. Building up a very impressive resumè of independent films, one of which is Good Time. The Safdie Brothers "Good Time" is a prime example of what a compelling actor can do with an impressive script. In probably Robert Pattinson's best career performance, we follow him (Connie) on a twisted odyssey to break his mentally handicapped brother out of prison from a bank robbery gone wrong. Connie is a desperate and immoral man who truly believes that he is the best person to steer his brother's life. This is a film that is so tremendously acted and so masterfully shot that it feels as if you're truly watching a documentary of a man's life falling apart in the course of one night. Needless to say, we cant wait to see what the Safdie Brother's do next (Uncut Gems) and what kind of roles Pattinson takes on in the future.
