Good To Me

from Sarah Grace Huntting Hosted by Sarah Grace Huntting

As my former composition teacher would say, "excuse my composer voice." A song about the goodness of God, which is constant no matter how you feel about your life or even about Him. Sometimes I’m overwhelmed by this emptiness-- this sadness that fills my chest. I look to you and I ask "Since I’ve tried my best Why won’t you move your hand to fix the rest?" But you’re God of everything . You are good, good, good to me. I feel like sometimes you got it out for me When it’s so hard that I can barely speak So hard I don’t even want to breath . Trying to turn my tear-stained cheek knowing somewhere inside you must be listening. But you’re God of everything . Oh, you're good, good, good to me. And if it is for me you intercede then you’re good, good, good to me. And if it was for me that you’d bleed then you’re good, good, good to me. And if I lost every worldly thing you're still good, good, good to me.
