Good Trouble: The God who Sets our Hearts Free | Faith Under Fire: The Ministry of Elijah

Faith Under Fire, a new sermon series that focuses on The Ministry of Elijah. Today's sermon is based on 1 Kings 18:16–39  given by Rev. Dr. Mika Edmondson. In 1 Kings 18:16–39, Ahab calls Elijah the “troubler of Israel,” but Elijah reveals that Israel’s real problem is its worship of idols instead of God. Though Elijah stands alone against Baal’s 450 prophets, God proves He alone is the true and living God. The story shows that idols are cruel and empty, demanding sacrifice from people, while the true God brings freedom and gives Himself for His people.
