Goodbye Thornton Elementary

Thornton Elementary is closing its doors after 100 years, marking an emotional farewell for staff and students as they move to a new campus near the high school. Principal Louise Denham, who retired three years ago but returned for one last year, praised her beloved faculty and admitted she’s not ready to go. The final showcase was bittersweet, filled with pride and nostalgia. A surprise visit from news anchor Mike Montecalvo added a personal touch to her last day. Though the building is gone, the legacy, community, and memories built over a century will live on. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
