Goodfellas (1990)

Send us Fan Mail This week we enter the world of Goodfellas and break down Martin Scorsese’s gangster masterpiece. We talk about Scorsese’s electrifying direction, the legendary needle drops, Ray Liotta’s unforgettable laugh and narration, Robert De Niro’s cool and terrifying performance, and Joe Pesci’s stature as one of the most intimidating tough guys in movie history… no pun intended. From the “funny how?” scene to the Copacabana tracking shot, we discuss why this film still stands as one of the greatest crime movies ever made. As far back as we can remember, we always wanted to record this episode. Hosted by Tage Sickler, Derek Wehrman, and Steve Teasdale.
