Google Gets Money (Episode 155)

What started out with technical difficulties and a really late recording time turned into one of the best podcasts we’ve had in many episodes!  It’s one of those things where we were both tired, didn’t have too many stories prepared, and agreed it’d probably be a short episode and then BAM!   An hour later and we were still recording!  There were a few problems with my backup mic, but all in all it worked good.  It’s really too bad my Gamescon headset seems to be fried, I really loved that thing, but it gives me more reason to purchase the upgraded mic I’ve been meaning to get!   Our list of games were a bit longer than normal, although it was mostly me, so if you talk to Patrick tell him he needs to STEP UP HIS GAME!  Anyway…we talked about Minecraft, Child of Light, Stick It To The Man, Mercenary Kings, Call of Duty: Ghost, Titanfall, and Clash of Clans.  Patrick also talked about his new found love for Twitch, which I wholeheartedly agreed with!     We also had updated release information for Kingdom Hearts 2.5, Dragon Quest VIII, and the PS+ PS4 free games for June!     In The News: Google Officially Buys Twitch Many hours spent watching ‘eSports’ last year Twitches new use of Steam Meta-Data to filter searches New lead on Uncharted 4 Game Maker: Studios update Mario Kart 8’s sales Upcoming GameCube controller adapter Mortal Kombat X info Bethesda’s first free-to-play game Telltale Games coming to Xbox One and Playstation 4 An updated list of all Xbox One games of 2014     Also, Patrick selfishly plugged his new podcast, It Be Like That Podcast, so make sure to check it out so he can shut up about it!  The best place to find them is Facebook, and they are also on Twitter.
