Google Stadia Is Dead

Welcome to the Day One Patch Podcast, where we cover the week's gaming news, rumours, reports, and more. This week Ryan, Tim,  and Matt discussed the top stories of the week including the headliner - the death of Google Stadia.  Months ago, we had reported on a rumour that Stadia was shutting down and while there was little (to no) evidence that it was true at the time, the rumours seem to have come true as of this week with the official shutdown of Google Stadia given a date of January 18, 2023.  The guys also discussed the Skull and Bones delay to March 9, 2023. This game's troublesome development has been noted several times since the first E3 reveal several years ago with this most recent delay being the fifth (so far). Then to cap things off the conversation covered the new Last of Us teaser for the HBO show that is coming soon.
