Gospel Tidings – Get Behind Me, Satan – Mary Hooton and Fr Eamonn – 22nd Sunday OT [Year A]

Mary Hooten and Fr Eamonn McCarthy sit down with the Gospel for the 22nd Sunday of Ordinary Time, where Peter earns a rare rebuke from Jesus for trying to talk him out of the road to Jerusalem. Before they get there, Fr Eamonn corrects an earlier mix-up over a listener's detailed research into what exactly made up the loaves and fish at the feeding of the five thousand. The reflection turns to what it actually costs to stop thinking the way Peter did. Feedback and questions: [email protected], or by text or WhatsApp to +353-89467-2000.
