Boy, J Joe get sticky. It's good song. All right cool. All right I don't think we have any updates Maybe anyone once you're before we got to we know we have like a pretty heavy docket anything going on anybody new or Nope, I'm not right here.

Nope everything's cool We just thought we thought people like we go right yeah Yeah, we had like a no we didn't we didn't have a Friday before we did Friday, but so it made something like a pilot's week. Yeah, it felt like yeah, that's what happened Yeah, we kind of did probably That's fine. Okay. Anyway, so let's get to the pie.

I want to start with Let's start with the Tyson fight. So They had the Mike Tyson Don't say Nick and Nang Jake Paul Jake Paul fight last Friday. I want to say for me I'll get into it never mind. They did have the fight on last Friday It was on Netflix.

There were a lot of issues and I was one of the people maybe I was in the minority or the majority that was affected directly by The the quality of the string of the fight. I will say that I went I took a very strong edible way too strong I shouldn't think I'm gonna throw my comments wrong away I'm probably gonna still take them all but I should throw them away because they're far too powerful But I was watching the fight passed out During the fight I think it was like an Indian dude and some freaky tattoo dude Which was just fucked up to me I thought I was having a fever drink but it was really a fight that was happening I passed out and I woke up to see some white women fighting and then I was like around one o'clock in the morning And I was like I saw one of our friends of the pod on post a story about something about the fight now I was like girl you tripping shut up and she's like why don't you sleep? I was like cuz the damn types of fighting stars like Nick the fight the types of fight into two hours ago and I was like what? So I was basically three hours behind cuz all the buffering and shit and I didn't even realize it cuz I fell asleep So that was my experience.

I missed the fight completely I was gonna like just stay up another two hours to before I am to watch the types of fighting It just wasn't important to me because everyone already told me what happened So that was my experience, but I want to pass it on to you all who actually probably experienced the fight I don't you know what what my experience was? Go ahead My experience was I wanted to go somewhere to watch the fight So I was really excited because I was gonna be my type of fan I was like man. I wanted to see it around people but I didn't know because it was on Netflix It was really nobody trying to like most of the time people out Oh, yeah, I'm getting a fight So the fact that everybody got the fight me was like what I was gonna say at home So anyway, I was like cool. I called it at the end of the first undercard Then I saw the second undercard fight, which is really good.

The first one was kind of poo Second one was really good. I was fucking fighting they faces off then like you said the white women they fall That was a really good fight too. So right after that fight on my right here we go. Here we go and Then I woke up and it was like round four for the types of fights So I fucked around and fell asleep right between the women fight didn't a little build up before the main event I fell asleep too, so I guess niggas getting old or I think did I even have a drink only thing I had a drink before the fight so I think I just fucking fell asleep because Oh, like man, and I Will go around around four I think in what's the rest of that bullshit?

So that was my experience Um the bootleg of the fight was actually better quality than Netflix There was no buffering on the bootleg and I saw a little do wall said it and actually what prompted me to do that I said let me go look at the IP TV stream and IP TV stream was better than the Netflix stream Yeah, it was better, but I mean it wasn't too bad there were certain moments, but honestly I didn't really care The the undercards were much better the women fighting I mean the old girl got robbed, you know, but the women fight was great They was fucking each other up the fight before that was also pretty good was that barrios and Ramos that was pretty dope There were some other fights before they were in but I mean for the most part they weren't entertaining fights They were much more entertaining than the Tyson fight at one point in time I was sleepy between between the women ending and when Tyson and them thought I was sleepy as hell and that's what I came up My app idea for an app called wake me when the fight starts Basically, you don't know what time they're specifically gonna start but basically the app when they go on it will notify you You know we can't ask up right so be a dope ass app The actual fight I mean it was kind of what I thought it was I didn't think it was gonna be any sort of conclusive sort of result You know I'm saying like I don't think it's about to not my Tyson out I don't think my Tyson would have ever agreed to that it was an exhibition fight. I mean we saw it when he fought Roy It was like I mean, we're not really what are we doing right? I mean it was a little bit more competitive with Roy, but Even still I just knew that this wasn't gonna inconclusively right Tyson looked oldest fuck But even though he did look old and he did look slow and motherfucker came up with a knee brace looking like my daddy I'm like, I damn come on Mike even though this is the last memory. We're probably this is the last memory We'll have a Mike Tyson in a ring.

I think it was good to just to see Mike Tyson one last time in the ring It sparked a lot of conversation a lot of people who were too young to have ever Whoever like known who Mike Tyson was and was like, bro We grew up in a toxic time with a whole bunch of toxic mean aggressive like just Unagreeable niggas and of all that unagreeable toxic like mean nasty motherfuckers Mike was the nasty motherfucker on top of the hill like he nobody was gonna fuck with Mike He could have a gun in your hand and he'd still be like mmm If I missed this thinking he hit me I'm gonna die so Mike was the baddest man on the planet and a lot of our minds He still is the baddest man on the planet even if he did go out this way, you know I'm saying in a non-trying for a way. It was still good to see him one more time I mean I was happy to see him. I mean it was it was trash from an entertainment standpoint, but it was good to see I did want to see him. I mean I didn't expect like Mike Tyson I'm in the fight, but I did just want to say okay.

I want to see a legend's last fight The only thing I saw was that niggas bare ass. I didn't I didn't like that But is that not so on brand is that not in the gym locker room? It's always old niggas showing they balls like no It's definitely and that's the immediate thing I thought about because I was like if you go to any gym in America like the old people 50 plus 9 or 50 55 plus you gonna show off When they get to that point I guess I just don't care anymore. Hey Johnny, how's the wife?

Balls out like you don't they go on the sign about ass. I'm like Things okay no more so a couple day with a Hey, man, it's funny if you go around tell the chick you gotta ask like my tyson I know they don't take it out of the time of man. I've done it a couple times and they don't think it's funny. It's funny But you just say what I mean, you know everybody said you gotta ask like Mike Tyson and then they see what happens And Yeah It's just like they get asked so apparently a porn site after this they get 250,000 a gay porn site The I guess the ass out on the porn site.

I was gonna ask you brothers would y'all walk around ass ass out 250 grand oh That's easy Why that's a cool quarter mill No, no, no, no, people that can tell me something is the motherfucker with $251,000 A 12,000 errors not by to tell me shit That's not enough money for me to be like kiss my ass like I can't cut like good I still saw that thing You can get yourself Three you might like I'm gonna do that for the 250 case Damn Right Take a little shame for dick ass back on me This and this climate you think about 90s climate you right like they don't really care about anything anymore You can't do whatever. There's no real shame involved. You're good point. I do like You know So you know My sweet Michelle Fair statement that's true because I was looking for me right You might open a portal up for you like you might find out you got following next Double I hope you open up a portal Keep you Keep you out I So I put the John Jones fight on the doc So what's that before we need Tyson?

Yeah, do you think it hurts legacy? No when he talked about that that sweet little girl And when all existential on her ass I'm out legacy don't matter because you did that's when I kind of knew he was like I'm just here for the bag And really if you think about Mike Tyson's legacy It's not the cleanest like I think the best he's done in his life beyond his fighting performance Which again is also checkered if you think about that Buster Douglas fight you know But and that's why I lost his his story I think the biggest part of Mike Tyson story and how let me know if you'll disagree is the man He is now like like what he's done post his fighting career post prison like his Reformation into kind of being more like a philosopher warrior type cat like I appreciate Mike Tyson more now Then I did when he was a boxer. I appreciate what he was as athlete, but I appreciate what he is a person now more so So I don't know if it's this and I know if I was like I think it's good to see to your point him fight one of my time really I mean I think it's like it's still gonna be what he did in the ring. I mean I love Mike.

I said now too I think he's probably in my top-up people who I'd want to spend a day with No, I think people he's gonna be memorable about what he did in a ring think people only I don't know I think people only kind of respect Tyson now because of the Tyson we knew before So if you didn't know him before I don't know how many people really check up a Tyson and his podcast even though it's really popular Now, I think like I said his the reform cam is awesome to see That's all the jossy is one man one man show when I came up. I do not yeah, it was really good man I think I think Spike Lee produced it. Oh, yeah, you probably could find it stream in somewhere. He's an introspective cat man He you wouldn't expect that time.

He's a shit come out of his mouth. He's a really introspective dude Yeah, for sure. Um, but yeah, so we go to John John. So here's the thing about me UFC Prefaces as well.

The thing about UFC and my perspective on it is it has like a thick residue of kind of Overmacho racist cracker to it that keeps me from not being all the way into it I pretty I could respect it because of the style of fighting. I just think it's very It's very advanced like you have to have a certain type of mindset kind of similar to I Think it's almost like a like a football plucker gladiator type cat like I mean maybe it goes a little bit beyond boxing to me because there's so much Involved and the level of violence seems to be a lot more intense, but it has that residue of of douchey Rednecky, it's a mixtape. That's where started. I mean if you go back to the old UFC's where they were not rules It wasn't nothing but a bunch of rednecks like fucking each other up to make money You know, that's that's what it was like they were big and they were strong they weren't overly athletic With that's what they did and then you have like the Ken Shamrock this before Jiu Jitsu and all this and then you got the Ken Shamrock's and the The Jiu Jitsu folks and all the real kickboxers that came in and made it more of a skillful a skillful thing So that's why it's always had that little white supremacist light I mean, but Kimbo was very much an old-school UFC fighter Like he was a brawler and he was gonna come in there and he if he punched you He was gonna fuck you up But by the time they Kimbo slice got into UFC They were like world championship kickboxers in the ring, right?

Yeah, if you've never been kicked in the shin by a kickboxer before who's got like stone shins and shit I don't care how long you've been boxing. It feels like you're you're what is that a femur? What is that? Well, what's the lower part of the leg?

Fib whatever it is like if he kicks you there and you feel like that cracked when he kicks you Like these motherfuckers like kick they like kick bamboo rods and shit like that's how you conditioned to be a kickboxer and you're a boxer Everything is above the waist and that's what you're used to and somebody kicks your big ass in the shin And you feel like your leg is already half snap. You don't want to do that anymore Just knock me out because I don't want to do snap And a lot of people they do MMA and they realize like wait, so this isn't just me getting knocked out Oh, I can get hurt in here Like my arm will be pointing in the opposite direction like busted or like injuries and a lot of people aren't used to that So they get in they get fucked up and then they go Yeah, I saw John Jones kick that and heal that nigga in his fucking spleen and liver I was like this is this graphic. I didn't go front. It's a bad man.

He's the goat at this point I don't think there is anybody else the thing about it is so when John Jones started doing the Trump dance I was like all right, so you can come up John Jones in this fight and you haven't explained who John Jones is what this light is What you're talking about? I watch the fight. I just know I saw a nigga kick the nigga in the spleen I know but you just talked about the John Jones fight John is a USC fighter he um He's one of the better UFC fighters. He's the best UFC fighter to ever fucking fight and he John John Jones also has a checkered past with drug use being an asshole Whatever, but John Jones is effectively the baddest man on the planet from an MMA standpoint He took a break for a while because I think he was doping or something like that I don't know if it was entertaining or if it was entertainment enhancing.

I don't know which one it was this time I think probably both cocaine and cocaine steroids who knows so he took a break for a while. I mean he was fucking everybody up Anyway, he's already the goat so this was kind of him coming back. He's old. He's old from a fighter standpoint Like what is he for yet something's close to 40?

Either a little bit or 40 or a little bit below 41 soon So yeah, you definitely look so he looks like he looks like Joe like old Joe Armie Joe. Yeah, he don't look like he should be able to whip your ass, but then you like murders You could have like a pot million now, but you but but he's a boss. He's long as fuck though like that's If you're not if you're not a long motherfucking like in he's gonna fuck you up, bro Like it is what it is But this was kind of his return So a lot of people are happy to see John Jones fight this cat and they know that there's a cat the dude He wants to fight after you to them to really spit tell him whatever the fuck the current champ or whatever He want to fight him. He wants to fight him next so That's the fight we want to see man.

We want to see John Jones Everybody he wants the whoop and then right off to the sunset to because he's the last goat effectively. I Like the Trump guy I don't want to call him because he could kill me, but I Don't think he's a Trump guy. There are a lot of people doing the Trump there They're there's black there niggas doing the Trump dance in the in zone first football as we But it is a funny fun dance, but you also look at it, but John Jones also gave me his belt and And hug his neck. I think I mean John John's definitely fuck with okay, I'm not gonna say he's a trumpet, but he's definitely what is it bro culture like Joe Rogan in them?

Yeah, so he's gonna fuck with Trump over Kamala, right? He sides more with what Trump stands for than what the Democrats stand for He's not a vibrant McDonald or anything like that, but yeah I mean, he's close to Byron McDonald's a bar McDonald's nobody's nobody's close to Byron McDonald's bro It don't matter So Who's my congressman is Maxwell Alejandro Frost the first Gen Z congressman in Congress? Yes, he was my blackest man. He's blackest man.

Give a signal I I mean Yeah, but he was always when the he was my home was roommate and oh you know, okay, never mind Yeah, my home was roommate and like in Patty He was a little boy to no He went into my home boys my home boys who was roommate like they used to be for all the time because That nigga was so broken at the time. What would it like he was dirty dirty dirty Tim's shit all the time and was such a biggie enthusiast nigga like, you know With the West Coast nigga, you know Fuck all day big which is the South the South chose the West nigga, so they just being an argument this year Man, but I think it was dirty. I mean like dirty dirty hoes too. So I'm like you like dirty.

Oh, do you like dirty hoes? Yeah So the look on my face when this nigga was like a stone cold conservative Republican nigga like this nigga like I said I like all points bulleted there, but I knew this nigga like So how did the same school birth Byron McDonald and e-bron was it kindy? Yeah, e-bron candy Yeah, how did the same school with Dan are probably the same year birth to opposite of the spectrum niggas? That's fair though, but the thing is I mean, that's that's the I think that's one of the better things about HBCU is the diversity of Black folks that you get like you don't see this thing type of black folks in HBCU I didn't know he's real name until he became the anti-racist.

I just thought the name was E What was your year? I think so 2000 You probably 2000 And they graduated from flood estate I'll be transfer across town the lights and they go into a few state room parties and like this is my I visit my people I Few state room parties you go kicking in cash haul a little bit and one signal lambda game to a probate I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I A A a A not made from artificial shit and people are suing the swept and uh... canada dry i'm thinking more towards what was what make it trip but but wait a moment of the drive schwets take a good at it if you want to get to send it back but canada one with the medicine in it i'm agriable is not in burners is certainly not swept see what you got to do it to seek them some sort definitely i think secrets is my number two secrets is good especially the truth secrets is my number two well now burners are number two i love burners but burners is also not completely ginger ale is a little bit of cream soda in that so did you like cream soda you don't like in real i like i like the right like the green sugar straight yeah but i like that's not like burners that makes it the best about world tech scenario um so yeah shot burners but shouted to Detroit as well um very introducing to burners but the thing is there's suing them um and they could join you could join the class action suit for you interesting i kind of feel like you are kind of ill i mean i kind of agree with his lawsuit so you you thought it was real ginger but they were given us no i didn't but i mean i feel i feel it there's no ginger and it's not a it's not a fermented beverage so it's not ill so oh yeah yeah i mean let's change this up let's call it something else call it what do you call it i don't know that's for them to figure out if somebody gave you pineapple juice and said this is coke you'd be pissed because it's not coke it's pineapple juice like whatever the fuck this ginger beverage ginger flavored beverages let's call it something else i feel like if they change the properties of what's included in ginger ale it would take away from the magic of ginger ale because i think about it when they during the pandemic what they did they keep us alive they introduced can to dry bold which is really a bolder version of ginger ale it's a stronger ginger ale and what i would do is i would drink i would drink it every day after my coffee i'd have a a cold glass of can of dry bold you know what i didn't get covid i did you got that beat it wasn't it was just though it wasn't just a fuck but honestly these brands are so strong these brands are so strong you don't need to call it you got you got the sugar right one foot big in the other oh oh me get in the drag and shout be some of your all oh man big probably all is a awesome t-shirt i did but to be fair i did get the can of dry bold zero sugar i only drink zero sugar so does darn they're the best like a little a little cancer calls an aspartane got i love it um but they don't need to call it either you could just call it canada dry like we pretty much know what that is just if it's in a green can it's to ginger ale like they all come in green cans we don't need to call it really i'm not even ginger ale even on the side of the can of dry i've never seen ginger ale i'm sure it is but they think ginger ale okay they say they also the issue is they say made from natural ginger and i'd be like you're a liar i've had ginger it's just a baby because it's a fucking laugh right right let me tell you let me tell you and talk about ginger ale long enough you go on since ginger ale doesn't make an hour ginger ale but talk about ginger ale so much ginger ale on a plane roll something about that altitude that's a go-to for the plane oh tomato juice and ginger ale tastes great on the bike go to it's always on the plane crayon apple if you take them better to me yeah there's some science to it i don't know what it is but there's some science yeah shadow science yeah yeah shadow thing when um if you if you're interested in joining the lawsuit please feel free i'm not going to give you the information um look it up yourself because do your research i don't change in the fucking uh recipe y'all don't join right yeah i mean ginger ale has been a part of our lives for generations kept us safe oh yeah they also come back with all black um daytime soap opera and i don't think there's been one for like 20 years i think they say it so that's a good generation i remember generation right right was generations daytime though yeah i feel like they put their vision on like it too but yeah but it's yeah i guess it's generations um we've had a bunch of shows that count i mean they're soap operas power soap opera with drugs power is a soap opera and sex and sex and it's what was uh green leaf oh green leaf was definitely soap opera they need to bring green leaf back out of the day show yeah i'm misgrinley oh it's called beyond the gates it starts February 24th 2025 so is that funeral home um i didn't read them that's random my little cousin hit me up and told me he started working there from your home i was like me i don't know if i fuck with you for real generations was 1989 just so you damn i know i remember generations it was sexy um all right cool so this isn't sexy but we're gonna deliver y'all gonna go into some music i know we want to go all right cool so a few albums came out over the past few weeks the one that sticks out to me um is a few actually i heard the freddy gives album i thought i think it was over high i thought i was just i thought i was disfying personally i don't know if you heard ever heard the freddy gives album yet i have not i'm not but i'm interested enough i'm afraid to give so i'm a big freddy gives fan so he didn't he didn't make no big steps as long saying like it was it was good like you'll enjoy um by going i won't go into it to do since jolly heard he did but have you heard the talk great album then yes i heard Tyler i have not yeah but i don't i haven't i really like Tyler craters last i will before we get into that um who do you think has a better um i guess our catalog that's also better catalog freddy gives or jake oh oh i'm gonna say cold i'm gonna say it's pretty close i never actually thought about it but i was pretty pretty close but freddy doesn't have freddy doesn't have the singles though pretty but if you take this i'm saying say you take the singles out i'm just saying just as far as i take the singles out well i mean that i mean pretty has no singles other than that's like other than that mrs lincoln how was the play like not that no because you're just saying i'm saying that they're not saying singles usually aren't the best songs on the album we're just talking about like pieces of art like but that's a part of that's a part of the catalog though you got it i mean you got to make the hits i mean you got to make hits too jake holds a better rapper than freddy gives but i would say if you're going discography for discography they are much jake holds still better but i would say that they're much closer than one would expect because freddy gives is very consistent and he also produces more albums so i would say that because he's can work consistent and probably has more volume at this point they're pretty close but also a fan i'm very biased he's indian and nigga i'm i'm also very biased gary niggas unite i'm gary now i don't think i'm ready to put him in i don't think i'm ready to put him at the jake hole level um you'll never be a jake hole level because he's not i don't think i think freddy gives us considered having a cult following i think he's considered like a niche artist between alfredo i like so so separately some people you know whatever i do other pretty with a great album freddy and freddy was a good album uh indiana let's think it has some some some some projects but anyway go ahead i just so um other creator came up with his latest album i'm gonna put the name because i always put the power so i just listen to it something cornucopia quacka copia something stupid chroma chroma copia yeah what does that do what does that mean i haven't been able to beat deep dive into the talent no fun um just shit so i can't tell you yeah i don't know what it means but i will say that listen to the album i would say um it's a very good album i'm not gonna say it's like god still e-gore was like a fucking crazy i said i'm flower boy was fucking amazing call me if you get lost call me if you get lost i'm getting a props just because of the concept they went with it but chroma copia is still up there like i think it's you still get to tell you the same type of music you're expecting from tiley creator like kind of smart introspective hip hop it's good well produced like for for help put his foot into it and i also say that i heard people say it was overly produced but i don't think i don't think music can be too musical that's that's not crazy me so let let's do a real comp as opposed to the cop that we did earlier in the year better cataloged hyalur or kindred injured hmm all right i came out to use something shit i can't answer that i mean here's the thing here's the thing if you're thinking about it because you have to because you're asking about personal taste versus like critical acclaim because good kid man city is still charting good kid good kid man city is the classic that's granted we don't need to talk about good kid man city okay we all know what good kid man city is what's tyler's greatest work his greatest work is Igor all right so let's take Igor and good kid man city off the table they cancel each other out they're positive and negatives cancel each other out actually no they might say flower boy i don't know i think Igor or five were both classic albums okay so there's two albums that may there's two albums that tyler has that may balance out good kid man city does kinder kaver a close number two behind good kid man city people don't say damn mmm damn it's cool but damn damn it all i like i like to pimp a butterfly more than damn but i'm i think i'm only one that's hard i can answer that question i can't answer that question i can answer it and say like if i had to do a good answer i'd say kinder kamar but i don't know if i'm being honest with myself because i'm really i really like tyler craze music like i i just think he's very musical and he don't it don't be the same shit any crap and sing so it's like i don't know it's rough i'm thinking of lyricism i'd say is kinder but overall music i say it's tyler it's not it's not it's not it's not easy answer i'd be interested to think about see what other people thought about that now you put it out there kinder yeah i mean we never do the comp of people that are in like the same lane right we want to do kinderin vs kohl and kinderin vs great and i look at all three of them as different artists um it'll be like comparing qtip indium x like it's kind of apples to oranges type of situation yeah that's i much prefer the conversation of people that are kind of in that that same old and i put tyler in that category so i'm interested in both west coast guys i think they're definitely in the same older peers i think they respect each other i'd be interested to see them head to head in the song but i don't think they don't want something other i don't know but you haven't had anything so i don't think they have but i thought i missed it so that'd be interested to hear them in a song to go just to see because they're both kind of out of out of box that'd be interesting to hear i will say that um i i suggest people to do do i have a favorite will yeah listen to it yeah favor on the album oh shit i don't know what the fuck these songs are called thank you i just having a car listen to the spotifies oh let's see well jade i did talk amongst yourselves i'll say that my favorite joint easily is take take your mask off i just thought for one it's a groove like i just love how to how like it's good driving music um and then like the message behind it like stopping a phone and shit doesn't brace your real self i think that's cool although you were talking about like niggas being gay and not one to be gay for real which no no dude i just gotta do what you gotta do and i mean they were miserable it's not sticky you know it's supposed to be a pre-pog that myth i don't think sticky is the song that i like pretty sure is that sticky is a long way um go ahead stick into one with the real way yeah it's not that way uh he has a song with uh doji i like that one i heard that one alone that's a good one i like doji uh thought i was dead that's what school boy school boy q in sanagul uh said take your mask off i like darling that too but teeso yeah i want to say darling eyes when i like but i don't know who teeso touch down here so i don't know that he's either but i think that walks around with like nails all the time i press my phone and press it on me not like nails like actual nails now niggas don't touch that no oh you be real no you know what kiddert says now that niggas on the crowns like teeso that's why i say that because he actually has not sound now but oh this niggas is weird i mean what that niggas talented is like i probably heard tees on the song hold on i'll look at what is this i'll put i'll paste it in the chat what what boy do you know who this man is this is a man right yeah yeah look at that boy no i know what you do like you do like a weird girl you do niggas i don't know i'm gonna throw this shit looks a little jon to see you know but that but then they get but then they get really talented niggas yeah i really like his music though especially you chir i'll look i mean i look him up like is he like jazzy or something uh he's just he's just outside the box he's like he's like another time i like i like that song so i mean i'll listen to it like i was on my favorite song on the album outside i'm taking mask off so i was into it i was into it i'm trying to be more open-minded about this new music because i'm starting to realize some of this new shit i do actually like so i want to be i need to be less i need to be more open-minded about the new music you just got to stick with the music that sounds like the old music big x and mexican and t-x and mexican and t-x and mexican and ot that's my as far as i'm gonna go fellas yeah that's about right right cool well y'all got niggas listen to us showing i'm at your leisure let's get into next week is thanksgiving makin good time uh next week is thanksgiving we always kind of revisit like rules of engagement for thanksgiving this will be a different thanksgiving for me because i will be going to my family's house and uh having thanks even with them so i'm trying to do the right thing in terms of like understanding why i need to bring and how to best participate and be a contributor so i'm focusing on that but what are y'all's normal rules of engagement as we go into thanksgiving season hosting or visiting with your family yeah it's in general yeah like how do you how do you how do you regulate i don't think we're i've been with these people my whole life so we don't really there are no rules like what i know about what i know about thingsgiving is what they taught me like this is what we have the same playbook we're both the shanahan tree like what we're talking about rules so let me tell you some rules because i've been to some just a different type of uh thanksgiving when niggas come and they don't bring anything so you should definitely bring something if you go into somebody's house and they're doing all the cooking if you're not bringing a dessert or uh alcoholic beverage bottle of wine some shit make sure you bring some shit especially if you plan on taking some shit home with you um if you do plan on bringing some shit home with you wait after everybody finishes eating like no you get your plate you finish your food and then you start making a go fucking place don't do that um stay out the kitchen get out get out of my fucking kitchen bro like i will lose it like get out all right yeah i will see i mean but i mean that's a standing rule that's not things giving like bro like get out like if you're not cooking get out my fucking kitchen like go sit at the bar chat me up keep me company stuff like that but don't just be in the kitchen i mean i don't even mind if you touch stuff like just don't be in the way you know saying like get your little fork of your spoon i'll get it for you whatever you know what i'm saying but like don't you know some people come in the kitchen and they'll like post up and like lean up against like this over the fridge you're like what are you doing like i'm actively doing the things go to the bar sit down chat me up there like just don't be in this place and drink drink drink on the level of bottle you um don't bring a bottle of Amsterdam and then you go run start drinking all the blue label thinking out you stay on that level you know i'm saying to Ian J then go to the bar talk about the right you know i'm saying like he bring talk about usually you bring that you bring the nanny ice when the drink's all the time again like come on man like don't don't do that i respect the nigga that brings nanny ice though because that's what he drink yeah that's what you're drinking yeah all the cold classics and as long as the bitch's eyes cold i'm a fuck with it like i fuck with you boy because at least they cold at least they like cold cold you put him in a cooler for your boy and i respect that it wasn't millilite ponies millilite ponies boy mgds ice-eyes yeah just don't be trifling don't uh make sure you courtesy flush you know um and don't move with somebody else but if you have to courtesy flush don't don't take a don't use all the toilet paper and stop up the toilet like you know go to a bathroom that is not on the floor where people are actively living like you need to go find you a basement bathroom or an upstairs bathroom like don't don't shit next to the space table man it was i feel like if they're not if you're not related to them or they're a distant relative don't boo-boo it don't be plows go to wah-wah wah-wah has nice bathroom leaving leaving leaving thanksgiving to go shit the wah-wah and come back is wilder i would you leave things giving me wah-wah's are like everywhere here in florida so i guess whatever the equivalent of wah-wah in your respective areas should be fairly close like i would never go to like 7-11 and shit or circle k but if you have a nice wah-wah by the house which nine times that thing you will i'll go to that wah-wah and i'll booble that wah-wah before i do it my people ask us i don't know man you want shit at your parents though i'll shoot at my parents that's different oh well we use that people i don't know what we're talking about these like like like whoever invited you like give us a friend give in her shit like that i don't i just be weird about taking a good like because things give us shit is like a it's not a foreplay place it it's like very precise series series business like it's like you need a newspaper you need to look at your phone for about 20 minutes everyone's gonna know what you did so do you really want to do it there i guess it depends on your proximity to that person like the the strength of that particular relationship i can't do it to my house because that's how many are doing someone else you don't know someone they know is you then you want me to know it but then they be like don't you never come back i don't want you to come to the subway you know i might say you better than come in that way but it's not like you might that's a good point but there's a risk like what if i do want to come back what if they were a great host i went to town and they they'd say i just want to feel right as i'm saying you should you shouldn't feel right shouldn't shouldn't it thanks given somebody else else i see what you did there i don't know if anybody in granted i think thank-giving food it's a type of food that you really don't get rid of till the next day anyway because of the nature of it but even still are you still are you still on the sauce so you're not really gonna go that hard anyway like after you eat three spoonfuls sure that's not works it's not works like if i don't eat nothing all day i'm still gonna be hungry okay when he said when he said you're on the sauce he said i'm i'm sure no yeah um i don't have delivery that's funny but um no i mean the thing is older i guess still probably only eat a plate of thanksgiving food anyway it'll just probably be a smaller plate of thanksgiving food as well good man we should all be doing it anyway we shouldn't be packing plates in 2024 like taking taking place it's not going to wear like that's the main thing i'm looking forward to about going to my cousin because i know i don't have to take like i'm not gonna leftovers to have to worry about that's a blessing yeah like we'll take a play at home we'll eat that shit the next day and be done with it automatically you know what i'm saying so it's only that way showing this way in my way so what are y'all what are y'all doing instead of turkey or y'all just gonna be fucking with turkey we're still doing turkey like i know a lot of people started any and i can tell these are people that don't cook right people like oh i'm all for substituting brisket for turkey bitch i bet i bet you bet the fuck you are like like clearly you don't cook none of this shit like we're going for cooking a three-hour turkey to an 18-hour brisket bitch i bet you do want brisket well someone just oxtails instead of turkey dishes you know right i'm still trying to oxtails right i suppose what is i'm down to the pan right and they expensive like you can't trick off oxtails you can't fuck that you're gonna like a little bit anything about it is people don't a lot of people don't make the choice i say all right so you're gonna make oxtails so which side did you choose did you choose southern oxtails or did you choose korimian oxtails there's a distinct difference and you got you got to figure out what side did you followed but some other fuckers just like throw oxtails in a pot and it's like you fucked up no it takes it's you have to really pre-plan that i prefer southern oxtails just because the diversity you have more choices as far as the sides if you're doing if you're doing korimian oxtails you have to get rice and peas and you have to be intentional about the rice and peas you have to get rice and peas well what else would you get i think i feel like that's a standard it's going to have a gravy i mean you could put it on white rice if you don't put that gravy on it i gotta add the white rice i've got the rice and peal the coconut like i have to uh i mean it's not a bad combination i mean it's a s-tier combination so yeah that's true that's the same thing when like when i go home and be like yeah i remember you should make a pot of gumbo uh we used to come home for things giving yeah y'all niggas wouldn't help go get the groceries you didn't put in all the goddamn groceries you didn't set there at the at the fucking stove for 30 minutes of that all right stirred the pot and again saying all the hell one nothing but niggas like right niggas ain't gumbo just fall off from the heavens right that's it niggas know it's just smell like roof right and don't and don't fuck around and look at the gang too long and fucking niggas hey boy you see that one one black lake nigga you'd like to have but shout out to karaebrioso with the gumbo staldi you can get you some gumbo staldi you ain't got to do all that work got out got red real so i don't know if i said the name right but i know we're fucking talking about i need some i need some i need some flavor i use the gumbo starter and actually it worked pretty good i did too i did too for you so what does it do is like sets up the roof it's already it's already a roof really i need definitely all right okay and shout out the roof is good gumbo brought it's a great idea okay all right may i make that after red real so i would say what you do is what you do is you make you a stock with that hand bone from thanksgiving make you a good stock from that that i hope with that gumbo you just like a good chicken sausage gumbo with that hand bone stock mm-hmm i was thinking that i was thinking about getting a ham just getting a small honey bake ham just because i had the bone because i made a soup last year with it's raising when it's like 15 beans okay okay the navy yeah they say i said i'm about who'll have this little bone jay i'm gonna do it with a ham but i could i still have that bone i can work with because i know as my daughter like my daughter specifically asked for like that ham i know you like him like that so ham is bad hey ham to stop let's stop protein we don't want to get married we end up getting marriages down to the story about i actually really did like ham but you know i did i always wanted to bone so she knows that's right right that would feel like the ultimate deception to me i would be you feel betrayed i'd probably cry i'm crying or waiting i've been ruining it for everyone because no one wants to see old man car for real my time thank you for taking pictures i happy this though not gonna say i'm sad i'm sad with a motherfucker what did you say because you give me a daughter away that's what dude no i'll be i'm saying because you lied that ham that's been good buddy i thought it big tail i didn't ask if you like ham you would volunteer it anybody get a pop i'll stir you yes we actually are that's gonna be the main girl that's gonna be the trick the turkey's gonna be a pop i start to begin honey big ham i'm gonna do some jerk turkey wings and some regular smoke turkey wings that's what we are you grilling for your turkey wings yeah i'm putting my smoke oh yeah you do it you do it any dressing in it my momma usually does that i mean we're we treat we treat dressing like we treat cranberry sauce like we don't want nothing too crazy like give me the stove top and we'll add some extra shit into it the matter like we don't we're not getting lots of purple a bag of cornbread i get too sexy with it celery and you got it you got it that's it but not but that matters though like if you could make a good like i mean everyone knows my dressing but ain't nothing to it like if you listen more oh drummer good it's five thousand making that good seafood or stir dressing right right yeah i think i think i think i just decided that to me but i'm just saying like small anime ham like everything real small just something to have i want to do the greens but i want to step on about its toes that at the korea i want to show i great you want to let me by by i mean good luck green i feel like i'm gonna show i'm gonna show on green after my life was raved about wood greens for a couple weeks you just grew into that like green. you know that was like i had to make some other things i was like i was like it's two in the morning this is what you woke up to tell me right just woke up look at my fucking greens you know that right oh right that's cool yeah that's cool i feel like how some families should have a show that should be neighbors the way woods daughter loves yep like a life- our families are very compatible which is which is hilarious it is like i i was like it's still hilarious to me like i was like i was like if we like if we moved immediately we could be neighbors i was like yeah right i guess that's how that would work i guess the lives the lives were the last ones to know about compatibility for some reason that's always how it works i think you try to convince me like nah niggy will lie i'm like okay i'm okay i'm supposed to see what i think what one last thing uh will it before we move on and i think this might be the last name i'm not sure because i did look at the back um so that's i think that this should probably be the last thing um any you you recommend any uh thanksgiving cocktails i know after thanksgiving, they they put a record drink uh sorry let's go c wo hee too I'm gonna co hee too gwald that's lit it eggnog is and has always been the superior confectionary cocktail to cokeakin but thanksgiving?

i will tell my thanksgiving though oh thanksgiving uh all seasons oh okay the I'm gonna start drinking cream beans out of pictures eggnog is just a hard ELA just a hard elect to make so people actually say lick cokeato Ignatius is harder than me. That's why. But those look like the white and creamy stuff. You have any any cranberry forward.

I know old fashioneds have orange orange in it. So they might go well with a good turkey day. So I have been doing bourbon apple cider, a tablespoon of honey and a splash of lemon juice. And I use that.

And I, well, if you have it, you can use a little all spiced jam. But if you don't know, where about it? What's all spiced jam? If I all spiced away?

It's like an all-spice liqueur. It's not super sweet, but it's very spicy. Almost like a rye. It's like a little bit of high proofers.

Like I would say 40 proof or something like that. But you put like three drops in it. No, I like a half ounce. What happened to a bourbon tatix?

Sounds delicious. So what we're doing bourbon honey and lemon juice straight up natural hot toddy recipe or we got some extra in it. No, that's what you just said. Oh, yeah.

Oh, I thought you said we were doing bourbon tatix. Oh, yeah. What you doing? Oh, yeah.

That's basically what it's a simple, it's a simple sour recipe. It's just a sour recipe. But we're not using like some letter. We're not using simple syrup for the sweet.

We're using the apple cider and the honey for the sweet. That's a great cocktail. My neighbor actually did something really dope. He took he took pairs from.

Pairs on a can. He took the pairs. He pairs with half of the syrup. He used an immersion blender and he blended up.

He pureed the pairs and he made a bourbon pair syrup cocktail. Simple. It's the same ratio regular sour cocktail. But instead of the apple cider, he used a pair of puree, the pair, the pair syrup.

That was delicious. He made those for me. I was like, oh, you want something like the pair really goes well with the with the bourbon. Virgin and syrup will be away.

It's a metal ball. Yeah. Well, I got juicy mouth a little bit. And juicy about the happy ball.

Yeah. Well, what else is there, man? Where? Classic classic.

Now it's time for side cars. Side cars are great. Oh, I'm a great great guy. Yeah.

Brandi by a great guy. It's a great great time for that. You know. What do they call what do they call?

What do they call? Come back, mules. Is that a French meal? They call it.

Thanks up. Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to make a fire car this weekend.

I sound like a brown. I think it's brown liquor holiday. Oh, OK. Let's go.

Like we're going to look. Leed it. Leed it to Kiele at home. Like it's not to Kiele's.

I mean, it's not to Kiele's season first and foremost, but definitely not during Thanksgiving. Like it's to Kiele don't pair well with the sweet potato pie. Just don't. You don't.

But I think that's like that's I car. Clean your side cars. That was great. I'm at the OK.

Well, because there's going to be excess of cognac anyway, because everybody's going to bring the cognac. So somebody got to drink this fucking cognac. So we go make some side cars. You know, use the make up make the pie that say a pie anyway.

Yeah. Yeah. I remember I remember buddy had that recipe where he like makes the cognac with the butter and the brown sugar and he had like a caramel Hennessy base on the crust. As I do with the pecans, like I'd make a sweet potato pie with the pecan crust.

So you got to choose one. OK, you can't use both in the same sense. You got to either choose pecan or pecan. You can't use them both.

All right. You know what I did? Yeah, you had a pecan. I think I did that for both both sides of the coin.

I usually say pecan, but people looking funny. OK, yeah, you got a pecan. I'm like, OK, all right. Two types of people in this world.

You chose both transvest. Yeah, but you're not safe. What's worse for it? You don't know.

I got a button for that. But you don't have to take my word for it. You rock with this as far as the podcast. Obviously you like something.

And as always, if your shit is hot enough, it just might be on the show now for the with all due respects. Oh, with all due respect, we are in the fourth quarter of the year round of applause because you made it this far.

Just a couple of things to keep in your brain socket. If you have any benefits at your job that, you know, dental health, whatever, you know, you might get X amount of visits to the dentist, X amount of visits to the doctor or whatever benefits you have at your job. Go ahead and get rid of those, knock that out, whatever that is. Also around this time, people start getting sad a lot of times because of the weather and a lot of times just because of it's just we're getting to that age where we lose people and people that were there at Thanksgiving last year might not be there this year.

And, you know, Christmas makes us think of, you know, our grannies and our grannies and our grandfathers and all those people who we might have lost throughout the year. So mental health, mental health should be at the forefront of your mind. Thank you. So there, you know, there are different ways that people deal with mental health.

Like I said, it's the fourth quarter of the day to get a therapist or a counselor or to talk to someone. If you have the offer and that you feel like you can buy it in, you know, just get it out, you know, a lot of times you can talk your way out of your own problem, just by saying it out loud. So just everyone be mindful that this is the end of the year. And, you know, let's try to go out with the bang with all due respect.

With all due respect, don't let these motherfuckers stretch out loud for four years. I know we're entering a period of uncertainty. The candidate, a lot of us wanted, may not have won. There's a lot of anxiety.

There's a lot of fear. There's a lot of insecurity. But we got a long way to go. We got four years of this shit.

We're watching the news every day. We're having discussions every day. We're talking about it. It's the same thing that we went through during the first term of this shit.

And me personally, I refuse to go back to that place with that level of anxiety, that level of stress. So y'all shouldn't accept it either. Like don't let these motherfuckers stretch you out. Now should be a time where we lost.

We get it. Big, we, big W. We should be challenging our wins as well. You know, the same way the Democrats have to do that shit because they're the ones that's supposed to win.

That's their whole job is to go out there and win. They didn't win. They got to figure that shit out because that's their fucking job. But we have to do that shit too, right?

Because we believed in what they were pushing, right? And we need to self-evaluate and say, all right, well, we didn't win. But how do I go about my day? How do I go about making my money?

How do I go about preparing my family to where I'm good in any season, right? I'm good weather whoever's in the president's right. Those are the things we need to think about, right? It can't be the sky is falling.

It can't be, well, racism is a racism that those things are things that you cannot control, right? Somebody who's racist who does not like you, there's nothing to do to make them like you. There is no point even exhausting energy to even make that so but you can't control the things around you. You can control the things to put into your body.

You can control the things that you put into your mind. You can control the energy that you put into your family, your friends, and your community. You can control those sort of things. And those are the things that are going to sustain us and they're going to make us better regardless of who's in the presidency.

So focus on that, man. Like don't wake up every day. Like I see it every day and I love politics. I'm not one of these things that say, Oh, I don't like to discuss.

I love to discuss politics with y'all. It's only going to make me a better person. I don't understand why people say no, discuss politics. Like you not discuss politics.

Doesn't mean politics is going to go away like, wow, you're not talking about it, right? Because it's still going to make policy without you. So maybe now is the time to get comfortable discussing it and consuming it, right? We all got to be better.

And in four years, we should be better. We're anxiety and not more insecure with all due respect. With all due respect, I also would say that there's a value in being present. I see too much about people looking ahead years in advance.

And you have four years of this and a number of months away from this and inaugurations and change where you're not bullshit. I think there's value just kind of being focused on what's going on right now. For many of us, I would say just knowing our demographic and our listeners, you're blessed. We're all blessed and very end degrees.

Nothing's perfect for anyone. I wouldn't say that anyone has a perfect life, but there's value in what you're doing in your day to day. So look at that. Look at the fact that your kids are always going to be little kids.

They're eventually going to be adults. So you're thinking about the things that you could do today. Let's put them in a position to be successful and a position to be safe and secure. It's easier to focus on the future because it's uncertain and it fills you with dread.

But the work happens today. So whatever you're doing today, focus on that, focus on your goals for today. And it will build up into goals for the future, focus on the things that the tasks that you have to do because it builds up some sort of level of discipline around what your goals are for the future. So be it fiscal, be it like your fiscal financial goals, be it health goals, the goals for your children, the goals for your family.

All that shit starts today. It doesn't make sense. Sorry, it doesn't make sense to focus on fear of the unknown years, months, years down the line because if you're doing the things that you're doing today and it's the right stuff that puts you in a position to be successful, you don't have to worry. So be present.

I think it's also a piece and be impressing understanding what you can control and controlling that thing in the moment. That's what has the most value. There's there's no value in worrying about the unknown, with all due respect. I thought respect as the year winds down kind of echo some of the sentiments that have been expressed earlier.

It's time to do a reset. Your goals in your planning for 2025 essentially starts now. And so a lot of industries and corporations can start to slow down just because of the holidays. So if you can, it's important to take your time off, rest, relax, reset, and prepare to hit the ground running.

And you know, you already have goals and stuff. You can start working towards that now situation. And you know, you have a goal to start doing something. You can start trying to do it out.

You can start mapping out whatever you're playing, start running or something. Like figure out your routes, start getting issues together, all that kind of stuff. Like anything just to be prepared and that way it's more ahead of the game when the time comes. So relax and join it.

Now it's time to be here. But also try to start making at least some progress towards nature without respect.
