Oswald Cobblepot begins to bond with his father, Elijah van Dahl, until Dahl is murdered by his wife and her children. Gordon also escapes prison after some help from Bullock and Carmine Falcone. After the escape, he only insists that the only way to continue his work, is that it requires him to head back to Gotham to get going."
