Gotta Have the Right Shoes

In this message of the Armour Up! series, we study the sandals of peace and shield of faith. The shoes of peace keep us steady when life gets hard and keep us calm when spiritual battles come. They don’t protect us from storms, the storms we go through expose the shoes we're standing in. The Shield of Faith is our shield against the enemy’s attacks. When the enemy throws his fiery arrows at us, faith helps us stand firm. You don’t put on the shoes of peace or use the shield of faith by pretending there isn’t a storm, you put them on by remembering who is standing with you through the storm. Let us put on these pieces of armour by remembering that we are children of God, reaching out to mature believers who can pray with us and calling the name of Jesus!
