It shouldn’t be any surprise that extortion is a common practice in government. After the 1980 to 1988 war, Saddam Hussein asked President George H. Bush what he was going to give him for fighting Iran. Bush replied, “Nothing. You didn’t win,” So Hussein invaded Kuwait for its oil, which made Bush invade Iraq. Extortion can have serious consequences. President Trump says he’ll stop the Ukraine/Russia war if Ukraine will give back 350 billion.
