Grace Alone or Grace Plus

In this episode we examine the critical question at the center of Christian faith what exactly is included in the equation of salvation Is it entirely the finished work of Christ or is it a partnership that blends divine grace with human contribution Referencing the historic declarations of the Council of Trent and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church this message contrasts sacramental systems with the biblical emphasis on the simplicity that is in Christ Drawing from Ephesians Philippians and Second Corinthians the discussion highlights the difference between new birth and spiritual growth making clear that good works follow salvation but do not complete it The focus centers on whether salvation is grace alone through faith alone or a blended system of grace plus effort The episode challenges listeners to think carefully about terms like anathema justification and partnership while returning to the foundational truth that eternal life is fully paid for by Christ and fully accomplished by God who works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure A direct and thought provoking exploration of grace clarity and the simplicity of the gospel for anyone wrestling with the question Who finishes salvation God or man.
