Reflecting on the “Tragedy of the Commons” and examples of environmental restoration, I invited the congregation to see Lent as a time to reclaim our calling as cooperative, grace-filled agents of transformation. By imitating Christ, we can confront despair with active faith, nurturing justice, peace, and restoration in our communities and the world around us.
