Grace-Empowered Prayer

Prayer changes when it begins with who God is, not what people think they deserve. Reading Jeremiah’s promise, Daniel confesses Israel’s rebellion and asks God to restore Jerusalem because of His mercy, righteousness, and faithful name. He makes no demands. God’s answer promises an end to sin, atonement for wickedness, and everlasting righteousness, fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
