We spend so much energy trying to belong to worlds that can never hold us together. That divided, restless feeling? It’s often the weight of carrying what was never yours to carry. The Gospel doesn’t say, “Fix yourself so God will welcome you.” It says Christ has already made a home for you. You don’t clean yourself up to come near—He came near first. Rest starts there.
